Schuyler WaldenUpdate 2008

Friends and Family,

It has been over a year since I have written you. Last time was to let you know about my trip to Papua New Guinea and to ask you for your help, which all of you gave in so many ways. The trip was a great success on numerous levels and I think of it as one of the most memorable and valuable events of my life. Those events helped me understand that many care for me and are interested in what I am doing; which leads me to this purpose of this letter: I am now about to embark on another trip across the globe.

It has been a long process, but I am only a few days away from leaving the rolling hills of Pennsylvania for the jagged mountains and high-rises of Seoul, South Korea. I will be teaching English to young Korean kids at a Christian school for the next 12 months. This is a great opportunity for me and I hope that I can take full advantage of it.

I will have the internet over there so I can be reached on facebook,- just look me up. I have also made a blog which I hope and plan to keep updated more diligently than my previous one. You can reach it by clicking: www.skywalden.blogspot.com.

I have just returned from two great weeks in the beautiful state of Maine and have been getting ready for my departure. I leave the 7th of August from Harrisburg and should be settling in my apartment in Seoul not long after. I am very excited about the prospect of teaching, being taught, and experiencing Godís world.

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts,
