Dear Friends,
Our time here in Papua New Guinea has gone by so fast – we are now looking at 2 more projects before we head home. This Thursday we go into Akolet for 5 days to help Ryan and Sarah Warner with some building projects they would like to get done. We are happy to be able to make this trip over Easter week. Just this month the gospel was taught to the Akolet people for the first time and there are many new believers there rejoicing in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Spending Easter with our Akolet brothers and sisters will be a delight. We will be rejoicing with the new believers.

In the beginning of May, Kim and I will head back up to New Ireland to begin building Aimee Hedrick’s house in the Tigak village on Limanak Island, located about 20-30 minutes (depending on the seas) from Kavieng. Limanak is very close to the equator and is, of course, extremely hot! The population of Tigak speakers is around 20,000. Aimee is hoping to get her house built as soon as possible so she can begin learning the Tigak language. We are happy to help. Please pray for us as we help in Akolet and Tigak. We are thankful for this year here in PNG. It has been full of blessings, memories, hard work and encouragement.

Thank you!
Kim and Viv Walden
