“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6

Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings from hot, dusty Ceara in Northeast Brazil!
Libby just arrived at Pensacola, Florida to begin classes at Pensacola Christian College September 1st.
I sent out a prayer request for Libby’s trip on that day. Thank you for praying! She had a safe trip…changed planes in Charlotte, NC alright on her first trip alone. Alone, but not alone for the Lord was with her! Pray for Libby as she adjusts to college. Her new address is: firstname.lastname@example.org Next month we will give her regular mailing address.
In the month of August, we were blessed in seeing another baptism held in the Jereissati church with 3 baptized. It was great to see Franklin and Ceceila baptized in the same evening. Pray for these 3 to be faithful to the LORD!

Pray for Nancy & I as we have a heavy month of ministry, travel and moving ahead of us in September. Every week we will be at the Bible Institute teaching and on week end speaking and counseling in Jereissati. Each trip interior we will haul some our furniture out to camp. Pray for strength for both Nancy and I as our schedule can tire a person out! Praise God, we have found a place for Rosie to stay with a family from our church in Jereissati.
Did you know that Julius Caesar was a Christian? Last night seventeen year old Julius Caesar from Jereissati came forward after I spoke on Heb 2:3a “How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation;…?” It was a joy to share with him and to hear him pray the sinners’ prayer! Pray for Julius Caesar to grow in Christ!
Today: September 7th is Brazil’s Independence Day. Rosie marched with “her” children on September 5th along with the entire school along part of the streets of Jereissati. Afterwards, I spoke to the children ages 11 and up with their parents on Sexual Purity, using the Genesis 39 account of Joseph in Egpyt saying “No” to Potiphar’s wife.
At left Rosie marches with her kids. Nancy watches on right. There were some three hundred in the parade.
Thank you for your prayer and support!
Yours and His,
Ron & Nancy Johnson (plus Libby at Pensacola, Christian College)
