“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16 August 10, 2012

Dear Praying Friends,

Greeting one last time from West Virginia. Our short furlough is just about over and we are scheduled to fly back to Brazil on August 29. We appreciate your prayers as we visit a few more supporters, pack up and turn in the house key in Beckley WV.

We are looking forward to getting back to Brazil and our ministry there. Ron will be teaching at the Bible Institute as soon as we arrive. We also have plans to go into more fulltime hospital ministry. This is to be used in conjunction with planting churches in new communities and making new contacts. We are collecting small stuffed animals (new and used) to give out to children in hospitals at Christmas together with colorful evangelistic booklets we have written and are printing. We also are in contact with someone who would like to set aside funds for wheelchairs to be lent out to needy people. These are ways to get to know families in communities that we are trying to reach. We are thrilled because there are several Brazilian pastors: former Bible Institute students who have a burden for this also. We appreciate prayer for this new ministry!

Pray that we might have wisdom and needed finances to have safe and reliable transportation when we return to Brazil. Our 1987 pickup is all that is running now….it is not easy for Nancy to drive and often causes pain for Ron to shift because of a heavy clutch. His knee has been damaged from years of shifting heavy clutches. An automatic transmission vehicle would be a blessing. Nancy’s little 1994 Uno Fiat has a bad engine that has been taken apart 3 times (mechanic charged only once) and still is not running. We need transportation for our ministries. Thank you for praying!

Please pray for our family also: Lydia, Shawn and daughter Julia in Spain doing church planting, Andrew and Damaris in Philadelphia area with a Baptist church, Rosie teaching in Indonesia and Libby finishing up at Pensacola Christian College. We were blessed in July being able to have our first family reunion since Lydia was married to Shawn in 2007. It was such a blessing to be able to be together again for a little while! Our Spanish American granddaughter got to know her uncle, aunts and grandparents. Now when we speak to her by Skype on internet she knows who we are!

Pray for the church in Camocim which started rebuilding two weeks ago after the building fell in last April. It has been a blessing to see pictures on the internet of this project. Many from our other churches are going to help in the work!

May the Lord richly bless you. Thank you so much for your prayer and financial support.

Yours and His,
Ron, Nancy, Rosie and Libby
