July 2013 Dear Prayer Partners,

We come to you today with thankful hearts for each of you who continue to pray for us in our senior years’ ministries for the Lord.

We were thrilled to be able to return “home” to France for three weeks from June 15th to July 5th. This is the first we have been back since 2009, when we returned to semiretire here in the States.

The first week we served as tour guides with friends of ours who wanted to visit Paris. It was a great week in spite of the fact that Carol came down with bronchitis that continued with her all the time we were in France. She just now is getting rid of the cough associated with it.

The last two weeks we spent with friends in Moissy and in a loaned apartment in downtown Paris. What a blessing it was for us to attend the Sunday morning services in the last two churches we worked in our last years in France. At Moissy we were able to see that the Men’s and Women’s Bible studies we started are still being taught. We were able to talk with several that we had helped through the Biblical Counseling ministry and see that they continue on strong for the Lord.

The Le Mée church has made giant steps in progress from the near death situation when I and two other leaders engaged to help them. Today the church is full, lots of enthusiasm for the work of the Lord and they have just called a young pastor to lead them. It just thrilled our hearts to see the answers to our multiple prayers for them and my labors with them that have resurrected this testimony for the Lord in the Paris suburbs.

At the present time we are helping where we can in the ministry of our local church. Soon Ray will be writing some more grant requests for the Radio Hope project in Togo, W. Africa. We plan to return to Odessa, Florida in January 2014 to continue helping the Bible Basics International Mission as we have these last two years.

Our desire remains to serve the Lord as long as He allows us the health to do so.

With thankful hearts for each of you,

Ray & Carol
